Visit to A&M
I attended A&M's program called Aggie VIP which is basically a program where they try to "help" undecided people make up their minds about attending A&M. It was very informative. I've decided to get a composite degree in teaching so that I'll be qualified to teach a whole bunch of stuff and receive my masters early. I'll still do my major in English and I'll go on to med-school but this'll be a what-if. I'm proud to say that today I only spent one dollar.
I rode up there with Eric. We had a pretty nice conversation on the way about everything. When I review our conversation over and over for the next week are so, I don't think I'll find that many things to regret which is very good. He knew almost every song on the radio including country and all the other genres which is something I liked a lot. I made him sing a couple of times, I had to beg, and he had a okay voice, but what impressed me most was his whistling ability, it was very beautiful.
I actually made friends today and Ciana's mother volunteered to be my Aggie Mom next year when I go. It gave me such a warm feeling inside to think that someone who doesn't even know me would treat me so well. That closeness is what I'm looking for. I hope UT can show me some of the same. Speaking of UT, it's funny how they refer to it @ A&M. They call it "the other school" and "the school down the road". I think that's funny.
Well, it's time for me to head off to bed. I have to get up early tomorrow to get ready for the Student Council [StuCo] car wash @ 8:30 in the morning until...We're doing it @ pizza hut and I hope we get some free pizza out of it.
